Since 2012, I’ve been presenting workshops, offering tastings and other experiential learning opportunities, organizing peer education events, and facilitating panel and roundtable discussions. Hypnokink, play piercing, risk mitigation, and consent practices are among the many topics I teach, and I develop more content regularly. I am convinced that kink education- like most education- benefits from the inclusion of many voices, and I work to highlight how many different ways there are to do things. My perspective is heavily influenced by my experiences as a queer nonbinary person and by the fact that I play as both a top and a bottom.
In recent years, I’ve had the pleasure of presenting in Calgary, Helsinki, Rotterdam, Vancouver, Victoria, and across the United States, as well as in my hometown of Seattle. Conferences I’ve enjoyed teaching at have included Dark Odyssey: Surrender, Westcoast Bound, KinkFest, Twisted Tryst, FapCon, The Gathering NW, Northern Exposure, Leather Reign, West Coast LINK, NEEHU, MindQuake, Charmed, Entranced, and Winter Wickedness. I feel wonderfully lucky to have the privilege of travelling to teach & meeting people in a great variety of communities.
I’ve taken a turn behind the scenes as well, including working on the organizing committee for the 2013 Kink LINCS Leadership Symposium, serving as Programming Director for Paradise Unbound 2014, planning programming for Hypnosis in the Catskills, hosting regular edgeplay events at the Center for Sex Positive Culture, and co-organizing Seattle’s Hypnokink Enthusiasts’ Group since 2012.
I’m gleeful about learning and trying new things, and invested in creating spaces that foster knowledge and creativity by making it okay to screw up in public.
